Products may be returned for exchange or credit within 3 days of purchase provided that the product is “Defective Out of the Box” and is returned in the original box with all original packing materials including Universal Product Code (UPC), manuals, and all accessories enclosed in that carton and packing slip properly packed. Continental Sew reserves the right to charge a 30% restocking fee plus missing parts cost(s) if any of the original materials are missing. After 3 days, parts may only be returned for an exchange.
In addition, items not eligible for return include:
  1. opened software or used parts
  2. tampered or altered products; or
  3. items not meeting any return or exchange requirements set forth in this policy. Defective software may only be exchanged for the same item.
Exchange or Return Process:
In order to initiate the return or exchange process, you must first obtain a Return Authorization (RA) Number. Any merchandise returned without a corresponding RA Number will not be eligible for exchange or return. To obtain your RA Number, please contact us toll-free at 1-859-252-0309. Please return the merchandise by some traceable method such as UPS or US Postal Service with a Return Receipt within 30 days from issuance. If you paid by credit card, we will credit the account used for payment. In all other cases, your refund will be in the form of a corporate check. You should expect to receive your refund within four (4) weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 7 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
NOTE:  Continental Sew & Repair Center is NOT responsible for lost merchandise. You will be asked to provide Proof of Delivery should the shipment not be received by Continental Sew.
Any product purchased that is returned without a promotional item which was included in the original transaction (e.g., buy a machine, get free gift card), will have the value of the promotional item deducted from the amount refunded. This does not include non-saleable items such as gift certificates.
